A LITTLE MORE ABOUT US!

Graham Scott & Co was established in 1982 with the well known, Graham Scott as the Managing Director. Graham built up the business with a small team working on everything marine - this included marine covers and upholstery.

As the business grew, so did the employees. In 1990, Liza joined the team as a seamstress, she was very skilled and took on the sewing for all departments, which had now grown to domestic upholstery also. With her keen interest in the position, Liza started making curtains, in-house, in 1993, which expanded the business even further, making the company more diverse.

By 1999 Grahams son, Mark Scott, decided to rejoin the family business and take his place as heir to the throne! By this point, all departments including marine, upholstery, curtains, blinds and awnings, were booming.

Mark worked alongside Graham for 13 years, gaining skills and tricks of the trade in all departments. In which time, Mark and Liza were married in 2007 and decided they wanted to keep the company running together.

They took over as Managing Directors in 2012, when Graham retired, and have been expanding, reshaping and improving the company ever since.

We now have skilled upholsterers who are trained in both domestic and commercial upholstery. They can repair, re-furbish or re-cover any piece, such as chairs, stools or bench seating, to name a few.

Our blinds and awning department is ever expanding, keeping in touch with the growing needs of our customers. And our showroom, now with thousands of fabrics to choose from, is staying up to date with the latest trends, fashions and designs.
